We call your business line three times and tell you what a buyer hears
You answer the phone all day, so you probably think your line is covered. Give us permission and we will ring it three times at the hours buyers actually call. You get back who answered, how many seconds it took, what your voicemail says, and a dollar figure for what walks away in a month.
What happens after you submit
Three calls, at three different hours
The next weekday at 12:15 in the afternoon, the next weekday at 7:30 in the evening, and the next Saturday at 10:00 in the morning. All three are read off the clock where you are. We never dial before 9 in the morning or after 8 at night.
If a person answers
They hear one short sentence: this is a test call your owner asked AI Security Edge to run, nothing is needed from you, thank you. Then we hang up. It takes about six seconds of their time.
If a machine answers
We keep the greeting only, up to twenty seconds of it, so we can tell you whether the mailbox is full, whether it says your hours, and whether it gives a caller any way to reach a person. We do not leave a message.
We never record a live person
Recording only ever starts after the system is certain it is hearing a machine. If there is any doubt at all, nothing is recorded and nothing is transcribed.
We watch for a text back
For ten minutes after any call nobody answered, a text to the number that called you counts. Plenty of good shops call back that way and it deserves the credit.
How the score works
Three calls, up to 30 points each, plus 10 if somebody texts back after one you missed. Ninety from the calls, ten from the text back, out of 100.
This is three calls. It is a sample, not a study. Three calls cannot tell you your real answer rate, and a bad Saturday is not proof of a bad month. What it does tell you is what a buyer ran into on those three tries, which is exactly what a buyer judges you on.
Questions dealers ask
- Who actually gets called?
- Whatever number you put in the form, and only that number. We do not call your cell, your techs, or anybody on your customer list.
- What does the person who answers hear?
- One sentence, about six seconds long: this is a test call your owner asked AI Security Edge to run, nothing is needed from you, thank you. Then the call ends.
- Are you recording my staff?
- No. A recording only ever starts once the system is certain it has reached a machine, and it captures the outgoing greeting only, up to twenty seconds. If there is any doubt about whether a person is on the line, nothing is recorded.
- How many times will you call?
- Three, and never more than three to the same number in a 30 day period, even if the form is filled in again.
- Can you call at a bad hour?
- No. Every call is placed between 9 in the morning and 8 at night in your own time zone, and never on a Sunday.
- Where does the dollar figure come from?
- Your own four numbers. Calls a month, close rate, what a typical install is worth, and the monthly monitoring rate. We multiply the calls we could not get a person on by your close rate and by what a customer is worth over three years. Change any of those and the figure changes.
- How do I stop the calls?
- Reply to the email you get when you submit the form and we stop them. A text saying STOP to the number that called you also stops everything.
The calls you miss do not have to stay missed.
Our AI 24/7 Support Line answers every one of those calls, at any hour. It picks up on the first ring, walks the customer through the easy things, takes the details on the real ones, and sends you the message.
