Can your website take a customer?

Put in your website address and this free test reads your home page and up to six more pages on your site, then answers the eight questions a buyer has when they land on you: can I see a number, can I tap to call, can I ask for a quote, does anything say what it costs, can I pick a time, is there anyone to ask, do you answer after hours, and can I see what other customers said. You get a score out of eight and the exact line of text or link we found for each one.

Free, no signup, nothing saved unless you ask us to email it. Takes about twenty seconds.

The eight questions

None of these is about how your site looks. Every one of them is something a buyer needs in the first minute, and every one is a reason somebody leaves.

  1. 1

Can I see a phone number without scrolling?

Most people who land on an alarm company's website want to talk to somebody. If they have to hunt for the number, a good share of them leave instead.

  2. 2

Can I tap to call on a phone?

More than half your visitors are holding a phone. A number that is a picture, or plain text, makes them copy it out by hand.

  3. 3

Is there a form or a way to ask for a quote?

Some people will never call a stranger. If typing is not an option, those people are gone.

  4. 4

Does any page mention a price, a starting price, or "free quote"?

Cost is the first question in a buyer's head. A page that never touches it sends them to the competitor who does.

  5. 5

Is there a way to book or pick a time?

A visitor who can pick Tuesday at ten is already on your schedule. A visitor who has to wait for a callback is still shopping.

  6. 6

Is there a chat or an assistant?

It catches the visitor who will not call and will not fill in a form, which is a bigger group every year.

  7. 7

Does it say what happens after hours?

A panel beeping at eleven at night is when people search. If the site does not say you answer then, they assume you do not.

  8. 8

    Does it show real reviews?

A stranger has no other way to decide that you are not going to disappear with their deposit.

What happens to the ones you miss

A visitor who cannot get an answer does not send you an email about it. They hit back and open the next company on the list. Nothing in your analytics tells you it happened, which is why most owners never go looking.

That is the whole reason this test exists. You cannot fix a leak you cannot see, and the people who leave never tell you why.

How we read your site

  • Every page is fetched from our server, not from your browser, so the result does not depend on your computer, your network or your cookies.
  • We read your home page first, then follow up to six links on your own site that look like contact, pricing, quote, about and services.
  • "Without scrolling" means the top of the page: everything down to the end of your header, or the first part of the page when there is no header.
  • If a page will not load, or hands us a challenge screen instead of your site, that question comes back as could not check. We never turn a failed fetch into a problem you have.
  • We show you the text or the link we found for every yes, so you can go and look at the same thing.

Questions owners ask

My site looks fine to me. Why would it score low?
Because you already know your own phone number and where everything is. A stranger does not. This test reads your pages the way somebody who has never heard of you reads them, and only counts what is actually on the page.
It says could not check on some of them. What does that mean?
It means the page would not load for us, or your host handed us a security screen instead of your site. We will not call that a problem with your website, because we did not see your website. Try it again, and if it keeps happening it is worth asking your host why.
Why does a price matter? I quote every job.
Nobody expects a final number on a website. What a buyer wants to know is roughly what they are walking into, or at least that finding out is free. A page that says a starting price or offers a free quote keeps them on your site. A page that says nothing at all sends them to somebody who does.
Does this tell me anything about ChatGPT?
Not directly. This one is about whether a human visitor can get what they came for. If you want to know whether ChatGPT is even allowed to read your site, run the AI reader check — it is free too.
Do you save my website address?
Only if you ask us to email you the report. The test itself stores nothing.

Hear one answer the way a customer would

It answers on your website the second somebody lands, takes the question, books the time, texts them back, and asks for the review afterwards. It works on the site you already have. The AI 24/7 Sales Machine starts at $297 a month, priced by how many accounts you run — the $297 a month tier is for dealers under 1,000 accounts.

Or run the marketing scorecard and see how your Google listing stacks up against the other companies in your city.
